Responsibilities
· Define and execute the technology strategy in alignment with business objectives, scalability, security, and regulatory requirements.
· Lead and scale engineering teams, including engineering managers and developers, while fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
· Oversee enterprise software architecture and technical decisions to ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
· Guide the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-availability systems using Java and enterprise technologies.
· Oversee technology operations, infrastructure, and engineering delivery to ensure secure and reliable services.
· Align engineering roadmaps and priorities with business goals, product requirements, and long-term growth plans.
· Ensure the scalability, security, and resilience of financial systems and critical technology infrastructure.
· Oversee integrations between core banking systems, payment platforms, and external financial services.
· Establish engineering standards, development practices, and quality assurance processes across technology teams.
· Identify technical risks and opportunities for innovation while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a CTO or technology leader.
· Strong background in Java development.
· Expertise in enterprise software architecture.
· Experience designing high-availability systems.
· Proven experience scaling technical teams.
· Experience managing engineering managers and developers.
· Background in fintech or banking technology.
· Knowledge of core banking systems and transaction processing.
· Understanding of system integrations and financial infrastructure.
· Strong knowledge of security, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
