Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans for web-based applications.
· Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, UAT, performance, and negative test cases.
· Perform API testing and validate web services, integrations, and system responses.
· Perform database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
· Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Automate repetitive and critical test scenarios using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
· Conduct security-focused testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and application risks.
· Monitor release quality and ensure software meets defined quality standards before deployment.
· Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
· Promote quality practices, improve testing processes, and strengthen the overall quality culture within the team.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
· Advanced experience testing web applications and complex user workflows.
· Strong expertise in test case design and test execution.
· Proficiency in API testing and web service validation.
· Strong experience with database testing and SQL queries.
· Hands-on experience with regression, UAT, performance, and negative testing.
· Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
· Proficiency with Postman and API testing methodologies.
· Knowledge of software security testing and common application vulnerabilities.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, defect management, and communication skills.
