Responsibilities
· Define and execute the technology strategy in alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
· Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
· Oversee software architecture, system design, and technology decisions across backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
· Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from technical planning and development to deployment and continuous improvement.
· Establish and manage technical roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs, scalability, and operational requirements.
· Ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of platforms and services.
· Drive the design and development of secure, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
· Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and engineering practices to improve system resilience and delivery efficiency.
· Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to translate strategic goals into effective technical solutions.
· Identify emerging technologies, technical risks, and opportunities for innovation to support sustainable business growth.
Requirements
· 7+ years of software engineering experience.
· Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams.
· Strong proficiency in Python or Go (Golang).
· Expertise in backend architecture and distributed systems.
· Strong understanding of API design and development.
· Experience owning the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
· Proven ability to define technical strategy and roadmaps.
· Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and scalability.
· Experience aligning engineering priorities with business objectives.
· Background in logistics, supply chain, or platform-based businesses is preferred.
