Responsibilities
· Assist in defining MVP scope including target geography, priority categories, and listing structure.
· Support supply acquisition by building an initial database of Iranian/Persian-speaking businesses in the target market.
· Conduct outreach to businesses via online research, community groups, social media, and referrals.
· Participate in customer discovery interviews with consumers and business owners to understand their needs and pain points.
· Help design and test early monetisation models such as featured listings and verified badges.
· Support growth efforts through SEO, social media, and community partnerships.
· Assist in listing verification, data quality control, and category tagging processes.
· Manage business owner communication and provide support during the MVP phase.
· Track and report key MVP metrics including listings, verified businesses, user searches, and leads generated.
· Collect feedback from users and businesses and contribute to product and process improvements.
Requirements
· Some experience in launching or growing a marketplace or similar platform.
· Basic commercial instincts with ability to engage with small business owners.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Comfortable with cold outreach, sales calls, and direct business development.
· Strong execution discipline and ability to work without perfect systems.
· Ability to work with ambiguity and help structure loose ideas.
· Basic analytical skills to track and report funnel metrics.
· Practical understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media.
· Familiarity with small business needs and challenges.
· Hands-on experience or exposure to product management concepts.
