Responsibilities
· Conduct international business trips to negotiate with foreign suppliers and buyers.
· Actively participate in international exhibitions to identify new business opportunities.
· Manage the full import and export process from origin to destination.
· Design and implement structural changes within the commercial team to improve efficiency.
· Negotiate and finalize international contracts using personal connections in the industry.
· Monitor financial performance including margin analysis, currency risk, and landed cost.
· Coordinate with internal teams such as warehouse, customs clearance, sales, and finance.
· Identify new foreign suppliers and high-demand product categories for import.
· Manage commercial risks including currency fluctuations, regulation changes, and logistics issues.
· Report regularly to the CEO on commercial performance, new opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements
· Minimum 7 years of experience in import and export, specifically within the food industry.
· Proven track record of international travel and attendance at global trade exhibitions.
· Active personal connections with foreign suppliers, logistics providers, or international buyers.
· Strong financial acumen including landed cost calculation, margin analysis, letters of credit, and currency risk management.
· Proven success in team restructuring or commercial process redesign.
· Strong team management, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
· Deep knowledge of import/export regulations, health permits, and customs requirements for Iran and source countries.
· Strong networking and relationship-building abilities at an international level.
· Result-driven, resilient under pressure, and comfortable in complex international business environments.
