Responsibilities
· Familiar with core cloud services and the implementation of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud Monitoring.
· Helps maintain service reliability through regular system audits and collaborative participation in incident response efforts.
· Develops proficiency in executing established workflows for system maintenance, security patching, and platform updates under senior guidance.
· Develops a working understanding of Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and learns to utilize Error Budgets to inform deployment and reliability decisions.
· Assists in drafting comprehensive incident summaries and postmortem documents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
· Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Foundational knowledge of a modern programming language (e.g., C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript) (Optional).
· Familiar with Linux/Unix environments and core networking concepts.
· Foundational understanding of core services within a major cloud ecosystem (e.g., Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure).
· Awareness of the software development lifecycle, specifically Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.
· Strong willingness to learn cloud operations, observability, and automation.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Pragmatic and problem-solving attitude.
· Good skills at writing / editing documentation.
