B2G Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement sales strategies specifically targeting government and public sector clients in the ICT industry.

·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government agencies and related organizations.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the public sector.

·       Conduct market research to understand government procurement processes, regulations, and trends affecting the ICT industry.

·       Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of government clients.

·       Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment with government requirements.

·       Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

·       Negotiate contracts and agreements with government entities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

·       Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and changes in government policies that may impact sales strategies.

·       Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's offerings and enhance visibility in the public sector.

 

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

·       Proven experience in B2G sales or business development within the ICT industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.

·       In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and decision-making structures.

·       Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·       Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools to track leads and performance metrics.

·       Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend relevant industry events.

·       A network of contacts within government agencies is highly desirable.
