Position Overview:
As the Business Manager, you will act as a mini-CEO, taking charge of launching and growing a strategic business line. You will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting, and overseeing various aspects of service, marketing, finance, sales, and operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at strategic thinking, and have a proven track record in fintech, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Line Development:
- Develop and execute plans to launch and grow the business line.
- Drive the strategic vision, mission, and objectives of the new business segment.
2. Financial Management:
- Take ownership of cash management, investments, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compatibility of cash flow with day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets.
- Provide regular reporting on budget performance and suggest improvements.
3. Operations Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities.
- Coordinate efforts across service, tech, product, operations, marketing, finance, sales, and commercial functions.
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a business manager or in a relevant role within the fintech industry.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement business plans, strategies, roadmaps, financial projections, and P&L statements.
- Extreme ownership and integrity in handling responsibilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to success.
Preferred Experiences and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a co-founder in a startup.
