Responsibilities
· Plan and manage international transportation and export logistics operations.
· Select optimal transportation methods based on cargo type, destination, budget, and delivery commitments.
· Coordinate container and truck loading to maximize capacity and prevent cargo damage.
· Ensure compliance with agreed Incoterms 2020 and international sales contract obligations.
· Supervise the preparation, review, and approval of international shipping documents.
· Ensure shipping documentation complies with Letter of Credit requirements and banking regulations.
· Coordinate customs clearance and resolve operational issues at border crossings.
· Negotiate competitive freight rates and long-term agreements with freight forwarders and carriers.
· Monitor shipment tracking and ensure timely delivery to international customers.
· Manage logistics costs, cargo insurance, and transportation claims.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in export logistics management.
· Proven experience in international transportation within the food industry.
· Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international transport regulations.
· Expertise in customs clearance procedures and customs management systems.
· In-depth knowledge of international shipping and commercial documentation.
· Experience managing multimodal transportation across road, sea, and rail.
· Strong understanding of freight rate analysis and logistics cost calculations.
· Knowledge of international cargo insurance clauses and claims procedures.
· Excellent negotiation and business correspondence skills in English.
