Responsibilities
· Perform routine inspections and operational checks of data center facilities and critical infrastructure.
· Monitor and operate electrical, cooling, HVAC, and mechanical systems, including UPS units, generators, and power distribution equipment.
· Monitor facility management systems and respond to alarms, equipment abnormalities, and infrastructure failures.
· Identify operational risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate incidents according to established procedures.
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical facility equipment and infrastructure.
· Support the installation, replacement, testing, and commissioning of data center equipment and systems.
· Maintain operational logs, maintenance schedules, inspection checklists, and incident reports.
· Coordinate maintenance activities with internal technical teams, external vendors, and contractors.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and data center availability requirements.
· Participate in shift-based operations, on-call rotations, and emergency response activities to ensure continuous facility operations.
Requirements
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in data centers or critical facility operations.
· Practical knowledge of electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.
· Experience operating and maintaining UPS systems, generators, and backup power equipment.
· Familiarity with HVAC, cooling, and mechanical infrastructure.
· Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
· Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read technical documentation, equipment manuals, and electrical or mechanical diagrams.
· Knowledge of data center safety standards and operational procedures.
· Familiarity with facility monitoring systems and infrastructure alarms.
· High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in shift-based and high-availability environments.
