Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise an accounting team consisting of three accounting specialists.
· Plan and allocate tasks among team members effectively.
· Train and develop the skills of team members in various accounting areas.
· Oversee the recording and tracking of costs and revenues related to contracting projects.
· Prepare and compile financial statements related to projects in accordance with contractor accounting standards.
· Ensure familiarity with contractor accounting principles and their implementation in construction projects.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to the construction industry.
· Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns in compliance with applicable laws.
· Provide consultation to project managers regarding tax issues and legal compliance requirements.
· Review and analyze contracting and commercial agreements, collaborating with the legal department to ensure financial terms are adhered to.
Requirements
· A minimum of five years of work experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
· Familiarity with contractor accounting principles is essential.
· Strong knowledge of tax laws and ability to prepare tax returns accurately.
· Proven ability to manage a team and communicate effectively with other departments.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate financial reports.
· Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Sepidar System and Excel.
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial information.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to provide actionable insights based on financial analysis.
