International Flight Support Manager

Responsibilities

·       Establish and maintain relationships with airline representatives and their business managers to facilitate operational efficiency.

·       Provide expert guidance on refund and commission processes, ensuring that team members are well-informed and able to execute tasks effectively.

·       Act as a point of contact for resolving complex issues that may arise during busy periods, stepping in to support the team as needed.

·       Monitor and evaluate team performance, setting clear objectives and providing constructive feedback to enhance productivity.

·       Foster a collaborative environment that encourages team members to share ideas and best practices for improved service delivery.

·       Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, particularly regarding NIF (Non-Interline Fee) and penalties.

·       Utilize systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Dnata to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding operational processes.

·       Build and maintain strong connections with suppliers to ensure seamless service provision and address any operational challenges.

·       Drive a results-oriented culture within the team, focusing on achieving targets while maintaining high standards of service.

 

Requirements

·       Proven experience in international flight support or a related field, with a strong understanding of airline operations.

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

·       In-depth knowledge of refund processes and commission structures within the aviation industry.

·       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.

·       High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments.

·       Hands-on approach to problem-solving, demonstrating a willingness to get involved in operational tasks when necessary.

·       Strong organizational skills with a focus on output and accountability.

·       Experience in team building and fostering a positive work culture among agency personnel.

·       Familiarity with industry software such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Dnata is preferred.

·       Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and partners in the aviation sector.
