Responsibilities:
· Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
· Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic investments.
· Oversee banking relationships and negotiate terms for credit facilities and other financial instruments.
· Implement and maintain effective treasury policies and procedures to minimize financial risk.
· Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
· Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the organization.
· Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
· Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
· Monitor market trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support business objectives.
· Participate in strategic planning initiatives, providing financial insights that support business growth and expansion.
· Evaluate potential investment opportunities and assess their financial viability.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
· Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
· Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an e-commerce or retail environment.
· Strong expertise in treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and risk assessment.
· Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
· Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and financial reporting tools.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
· Proven track record of leading finance teams and driving performance improvements.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
