Responsibilities:

·       Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

·       Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

·       Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company can meet its obligations, optimizing working capital management.

·       Cost Management: Analyze costs and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability, including monitoring operational expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.

·       Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial performance and support business growth initiatives.

·       Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including insurance, hedging, and other financial instruments.

·       Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, logistics) to align financial strategies with business objectives and provide financial insights.

·       Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal policies; coordinate with external auditors during audits.

·       Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

·       Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

 

·       Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

·       Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector.

·       Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling tools) and a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).

·       Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial data.

·       Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

·       Leadership Qualities: Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects; ability to inspire and motivate team members.

·       Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy while balancing short-term goals with long-term objectives.

·       Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

·       Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices related to e-commerce finance.

·       Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are highly desirable.
